Is the firewall you paid for actually protecting you?
The most common thing we find on a first visit: a licensed firewall with none of its inspection features switched on, admin pages reachable from the whole internet, and passwords that were emailed around years ago. None of it shows until the bad day. We check for it on a good day instead.
Fixed scope, findings in writing
- Firewall configuration review — are the security services you're paying for enabled and inspecting, are policies scoped or wide open, is the licence live on the device itself.
- Internet exposure check — what your public address actually answers to: management pages, phone systems, remote-access services, and who on the planet is allowed to reach each.
- Update and signature state — firmware, threat signatures and end-of-life exposure across the edge devices.
- Access hygiene — admin accounts, two-factor coverage, where credentials live today, and who could still log in from a job they left.
- Recovery readiness — is there a current, restorable configuration backup, and does anyone but the vendor hold it.
You receive a short written report: what is fine, what is exposed, and the fix plan in priority order with honest effort estimates. Then it's your call — fix it with us, with your own team, or not at all. The report is yours either way.
